Okay, so we’ll likely never own it and we’re not willing to take up the leg-risking loans to pay for it. But we can at least look at Samsung’s jewel in its CES crown, a 105-inch curved LCD TV.

The behemoth supports a 21:9 aspect ration and a stunning 5120 x 2160 resolution. Its curved shape is supported by a hardwood backing, of all things. Samsung claims it delivers a 3D-like effect without wearing 3D glasses. It even comes with software designed to recognize background images and contrast them to those in focus. We’re not too sure that’s a good idea, though.

Samsung also has 55, 65 and 78 inch curved 4K sets on show. It’s yet to pin down some solid release dates, though. Until then, get a piggy bank or ten and start saving.
