Nokia 2 Gearing up for November Launch

The budget Nokia 2 could be available as soon as November, according to a conversation between Nokia’s Myanmar division and a fan.

While it’s difficult to say if the screenshot is legitimate, it would appear that the device is expected to be available in the Myanmar in November, according to AndroidHeadlines. If this leak turns out to be true, the UK could be getting the handset as soon as October.

HMD Global has already got a solid line of Nokia handsets, including the 3, 5, 6 and 8. There’s even rumours of a 9, which would make the lineup pretty packed. The Nokia 3 is about as entry-level as you can get without downgrading to a feature phone, housing a MediaTek MT6737 and 2GB RAM. The battery is an equally frugal 2,630mAh, though for a budget device this is still pretty good. Quite how Nokia is going to downgrade this further with the 2, we’re not sure.
