HTC has suffered somewhat in recent months, with its Q1 results seriously down due to delays with the HTC One. May 2013 is shaping up to be a good month for HTC though with last month’s revenue hitting an 11-month high at $970million.
The rosy financials couldn’t stop one key executive from leaving though, with Matthew Costello, HTC’s COO reportedly leaving the company, according to Bloomberg.
Costello had been with the company just three years and is just the latest in a long line of executives who have left the Taiwanese phone manufacturer.
Previously, Chief Product Officer Kouji Kodera and HTC Asia’s CEO Lennard Hoornick left the company for other pastures, and former Product Strategy Manager, Eric Lin, has even gone as far as to urge others to leave.
To all my friends still at @HTC – just quit. leave now. itâs tough to do, but youâll be so much happier, I swear.
