We think the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge are both fantastic devices, but even they have their problems.

It seems that both devices smartphones are mismanaging RAM. Apps store information in a device’s RAM for quick access when being used. They close when that information is no longer needed. The S6 devices are experiencing problems clearing their RAM and some applications are closing as a result.

Users have been complaining about their devices freezing or crashing, and Samsung has admitted that there is a problem with the management of RAM on some devices. The company is working on a software update to resolve this.

Samsung said on its Facebook page: “Micro-updates are in the process of being rolled out to correct issues relating to device performance and stability€¦ Keep checking for these on your device via Settings > About device > Software update > Update now”.
