Some big new apps are due to launch on Windows Phone 8 today, if tweets by Windows Phone manager Joe Belfiore are anything to go by.

Belfiore has announced several big name apps on Twitter in recent months, including Pandora and Photosynth. This time it seems however that we’re likely to receive a “yummy” app and a game.

We can’t say we have any guesses as to what could be coming — but we assume that one of them is likely to be an app-based around food. If you’re hoping for an official app from Vine or Instagram, then you’re most likely to be disappointed with this round of apps.

As soon as the apps hit the Windows Phone Store, you can be sure we’ll update you on what they are.
