LG building 8.3-inch Android G Pad?

LG is reportedly building a 8.3-inch Android tablet called the G Pad, and it’s rumoured that it will offer a resolution of 1920×1200 and be powered by an unknown quad-core processor.

The LG G Pad is rumoured to be a lot like the Nexus 7, which was built by Asus, but with a larger body and a larger display.

As well as the quad-core processor the G Pad is said to feature 2GB of RAM as well as a SIM card slot for accessing internet on the go and even making phone calls.

Sources which claim to have seen the device say that it has a minimal bezel and will be extremely thin and lightweight.

It’s said that the back of the G Pad is made of aluminium but it’s unknown whether or not it will feature a camera sensor at all.

The G Pad is set to be unveiled at IFA 2013 next month, but this is yet another rumour — so we’d take it with a pinch of salt.

That said, there has been fuel added to this rumour thanks to LG trademarking the G Pad name along with G Watch, G Glass, G Band and G Hub.
