Huge LG and Samsung Ultra HD TVs being prepped for CES

It’s nearly Christmas time, which means one thing, it’s nearly nearly CES time. We don’t know everything that the big manufacturers have to show us at the huge electronics event, but LG and Samsung have played just a few of their cards. Basically, a huge LG TV is coming and Samsung is doing one too.

Both companies have announced gigantic curved TVs for debut at the show. Both will measure in at an astonishing 105-inches and curve inwards for improved picture display. Both will have Ultra HD images, so basically picture TVs that look really, really good, then think of them looking a bit better and you’ve arrived at ‘Ultra’.

LG’s is an LCD panel running a 5120 x 2160 resolution. It has a 21:9 aspect ration which the company has crowned as ‘CinemaScope’.

It sounds incredible, but we’ll expect the price to be equally as jaw-dropping. Both companies are claiming to have the largest and curviest TVs out there – we’ll see which one is true in Las Vegas. January is just a few weeks away, look out for the huge LG and Samsung TVs there.
