A brand new addition to the HTC Desire range could be on its way very soon. A new leak showing off what could possibly be the new phone has been working its way around the web.
The leak was spotted on TENAA, China’s electronics certification agency. The device is codenamed HTC D728w, which could be a codename for HTC Desire 728. Nothing has officially been confirmed by HTC, however.
HTC Desire 728 specs
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about the HTC Desire 728. Previous rumours have suggested that the device will get a 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It could also be powered by a 1.3GHz 64-bit octa-core MediaTek processor. Other rumours have suggested that it could have a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor instead.
There could be 16GB of internal storage, 2GB RAM, a 2,800mAh battery, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It may also have 4G and Dual SIM connectivity, as well as running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Of course, none of this has been confirmed by HTC, so these rumours shouldn’t be taken too seriously.
