Fresh off our news of the Moto X in black, we’ve also got another leak of the same device but in gold this time.

A lonely leaked photo courtesy of Chinese microblogging Weibo apparently shows a finished gold version of the flagship, which again looks very similar to the current generation Moto X. The only difference is a slightly altered rear panel, which bears the same design themes as the recently leaked 3rd gen Moto G. A nice little addition to the device is a front flash which is sure to appeal to selfie lovers everywhere. The gold version is obviously taking a few design cues from the Samsung Galaxy S6.

The 3rd generation Moto X is expected to be a true flagship, with a Quad HD 1440p AMOLED display, 4GB RAM and a range-topping Snapdragon 810 (though GSMArena has the 808 listed in their own specifications). The photography department will also be well catered for, with a 16 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera with a flash (as confirmed today).

The device is expected to make its debut on July 28th at a secret Motorola event, alongside the Moto G.
