Finger gestures coming to Samsung’s 2014 TVs

Samsung has feature hand gestures in its Smart TV lineup for a little while now, but in 2014 the company will get even more specific.

Finger gestures are apparently the next big step for interface on the TVs. The company promises that the new controls will be even more intuitive than they were before, allowing you to stop videos with a twirl of a finger and select content by pointing. Voice control will also be included once more, and should also be improved.

These new features sound all lovely and high tech and all that, but… anyone still got a soft sport for their remote? It can’t be just us.
