You may soon have another reason to get an Amazon Prime subscription with Bloomberg reporting that its rumoured HTC-built smartphone may just be available for Amazon Prime subscribers.

According to unnamed sources, Amazon is looking to preposition the three devices it is rumoured to be in talks with HTC over to Amazon Prime customers who may get a free phone or a very cheap one for the very lease.

Amazon already uses its tablets to promote the Amazon Prime service with movie and TV streaming very much centric to the whole experience, but whether or not a phone is going to become apart of the service remains to be seen. Bloomberg did note that Amazon is not yet sure whether it wants to go ahead with building a smartphone.
