Motorola reveals g8 Lite ahead of April 15 release

The entry-level smartphone comes with Android 9 Pie and will retail for £149

Motorola has revealed its latest smartphone comes with a 5,000mAh battery, which the vendor says can last two days. 

The Moto g8 Lite will be released on April 15 and will cost £149 and will be available to buy from O2, Vodafone, Carphone Warehouse, Tesco, Amazon, Argos and JLP.

Motorola are so confident in the battery life of the g8 Lite that it has said users can stream videos for up to 19 hours at a time. 

There is a triple camera system setup, which includes a 16MP main camera and has an 8MP front camera. 

While the display is 6.5-inches and about 200g in weight, with the Moto g8 Lite powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, and running Android 9 Pie OS. 

It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built in memory, with customers able to expand this with a 256GB microSD card.
