FIXR application gets ‘next generation’ update

FIXR has unveiled a substantial update to their popular mobile ticketing application, which adds a number of new features.

The application was developed in 2013 by Nick Stone and Edmund Glover as a professional ticketing solution for those who want to attend or organise nightlife events or parties. The new features develop this further, by enhancing the customers ability to buy tickets and allowing the creation of private events. A new dedicated promoter platform also allows organisers deeper tracking and promotional ability, with discount codes finally supported and deep-linking integration to help direct potential customers to the correct event.

Those who used the app previously have been desperate for a way to create their own events and it’s pleasing to see this has been added. The private events feature allows anyone to list an event on FIXR, from large scale to student and house parties. Costs are split among organisers and there is also an RSVP utility, allowing friends to register their interest. These events can then be bookmarked using the new favourites feature, or shared with others across Facebook and Soundcloud. FIXR has also updated the number of available ticket types, now allowing everything from table reservation to advance guest list tickets.

The FIXR application is available now on both iOS and Android platforms. Hit the links to download the app and snag the update! The FIXR Entry Manager App for organisers is also free and available to download on iOS and Android.
