ZTE is one of those smartphone brands you may never here about, but is positivity thriving in other regions of the world. Its business in the East has kept it running healthy, competing with the likes of Huawei, Lenovo and even Sony.

Now the company’s looking to launch the first in its flagship series of phones, branded Nubia. The debut, named ZTE Nubia Z5, is nearing release, that is according to the company’s general manager, Ni Fei. He told Chinese CNMO that this new handset will be launching in its concerned territories around the end of November or start of December. It will certainly try to keep up with other leading phones, as it’s going to pack in the coveted Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.

How the company will fair against stiff competition with this new flagship is unknown. It’s always exciting when a new challenger steps up to the plate with something to champion, though. Even if a lot of us will never get to see it.
