ZTE is entering the tablet market with a new 7-inch Android 2.1 based device, with integrated Wi-Fi and 3G.

The ZTE Light weighs in at 403g, with support for voice calling and coming with a 3-megapixel camera.

With Android 2.1 on-board, the ZTE Light includes Bluetooth and GPS support, as well as an external microSDHC card slot to allow you to expand the storage memory to 32GB.

It will also offer up to 10 hours battery life.

No price or availability is yet known, but it is very likely to be at a more affordable segment of the market than the Samsung Galaxy Tab, but higher than models from the likes of Huawei and Binatone.
