ZTE has revealed the specs for their new handset with some surprising features.
The Axon mini will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor and Adreno 405 GPU. Display is 5.2 inches with a Super AMOLED FHD 2.5D with curved edges. 3GB of ram will be packed in for multitasking and 32GB of expandable internal memory via microSD. Battery capacity will be 2800mAh.
For a mini phone, ZTE will impress with the camera as they pack in a phase detection autofocus, the newest in camera focus technology. ZTE are claiming that the focus time will be 0.1 seconds with a 13 megapixel main camera, which will be accompanied by a 2 megapixel camera as the ZTE boasts a dual camera feature, with dual-LED flash.
The Axon mini will also be available in China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Russia, Japan, India, Australia, France, Germany, Turkey, Spain, and Italy “in the coming months”.
ZTE will come in multiple colours with varying prices depending on your choice. Ion Gold and Chromium Silver ¬329, Rose Gold ¬349, premium edition ¬389. A UK release date and price is yet to be confirmed.
