White Xbox One raises £5,000 for charity

Your chances of getting an Xbox One in white may have just gone down quite a bit, with the console that went on sale earlier this week on eBay officially shifting for £5,000. If that number sounds a bit lower than the figure we reported, then that’s because the games console was removed from bidding after some rather suspicious bids were submitted, and then relisted under the £5,000 price tag and ‘Buy It Now’.

The console was donated by an anonymous Microsoft employee, with proceeds from the sale going to UK-based GamesAid, which is a charity that helps disadvantaged and disabled children.
