WATCH: ‘Puppy Pop’ is the first game that you can play on the LG G3 without opening the Quick Circle Case

Of all the features we expected to see incorporated into the LG G3’s official protective cover, the Quick Circle Case, gaming wasn’t one of them.

We would have been perfectly forgiving and understanding if LG had simply come out and said that, what with the Quick Circle Case simply offering a small round window of visibility, that gaming was simply not feasible with it.

However, rather than take the easy way out, LG has actually gone and created a game specifically designed for use with the case. The game in question is called Puppy Pop, and its a fairly traditional match three game.

Puppy Pop will be immediately familiar to anyone who has played mobile games like Bejeweled or Candy Crush before (i.e. 99% of the world’s population). The device’s small window is filled with cutesy puppy faces, and you must swipe your finger across the screen to connect ones that match. When you do, they pop and your score increases. Simple stuff, and probably addictive too – everything you’d want from a game clearly designed not to be played for any serious duration of time. This is the next generation of bus stop/dentist’s waiting room, quick time-killer.

Take a look at the video at the top of the page to see if it’s your sort of thing. If you’re fortunate enough to own an LG G3, then the game will already be available to you on the Google Play Store, for free.
