Three has extended its ‘Feel at Home’ service ‘ which allows customers to use their UK price plan abroad ‘ to the USA, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Macau today.
Feel At Home is available to all Three customers – pay monthly, pay as you go, mobile broadband and business customers. SIM plan customers who have been with Three for more than 30 days can enjoy Feel At Home as well, once international roaming is activated on their account.
It allows customers to use their UK allowances to use data, text, call home and receive calls from home when abroad in certain countries.
If customers exceed the limits of their current price plan then they will still benefit from roaming rates that are lower than Three’s standard roaming rates.
As well as the four countries added today, the service is currently available in the Republic of Ireland, Australia, Italy, Austria, Hong Kong, Sweden and Denmark.
Three chief executive Dave Dyson said: “We want customers to get the most out of their devices at home or abroad. High roaming charges stop people enjoying their phones while they’re away and Feel At Home is the antidote to that.
“Adding the USA to the mix is great news for our customers and shows our commitment to giving them the best experience in what is a popular destination. We plan to add more countries to the mix soon.”
