That joke isn’t funny anymore: Twitter stamps out plagiarism

Twitter seems to finally be taking a stand against users or spam bots who have a tendency to copy someone else’s jokes.  

Plagiarism is Bad recently noticed that the social media site is deleting copied jokes due to reports ‘from the copyright holder.’

Freelance writer Olga Lexell claims she has been a victim of this plagiarism. She said that she depends on Twitter for a living and uses it to field-test jokes. She adds that she would not have others claim her jokes as their own.
