TalkTalk launches £3.50 mobile plan, cheapest in UK

Who needs unlimited texts and streams and streams of data? Not you? Well TalkTalk could slash your mobile bill dramatically, then.

The company has launched the UK’s cheapest mobile service network, costing just £3.50 a month. For that measly sum you’ll get 100 minutes, 250 texts and even 100 MB of data. The SIM-only plan can be taken up either on a month-by-month basis or with a 12-month contract.

That’s not the only new plan on offer from the company, though. A tariff refresh sees it move into unlimited territory for the first time. Two other plans allow for more calls and texts, the larger of which offers unlimited amounts, with 4 GB of data to boot.

Amid news of the Ofcom price increases, this is actually a pretty attractive little offer.  Nicely timed, TalkTalk.
