Surface Book sells out on Microsoft Store

Pre-orders for Surface Book in the United States have already sold out on the Microsoft Store.

Little more than a week after the announcement, it seems that Microsoft has already depleted it’s pre-order stock for the Surface Book in the United States. All variants are now unavailable on their site, with an ‘Email me when available’ notification being the only indicator left. The device is still available to pre-order on the Amazon.com store but it’s currently only available in the lowest Core i5 variant, with higher spec versions sold out. This is great news for Microsoft, with some saying that the high retail price may detract potential buyers. Obviously, this isn’t the case after all.

The Microsoft Surface book launches October 26th, though UK pricing and availability are still yet to be revealed.
