Star Trek Timelines mobile game announced

Developer Disruptor Beam has announced that it is working on an official Start Trek game for web and mobile platforms.

Star Trek Timelines, as it will be known, is a social role-playing-game that tasks gamers with building the ultimate starship and crew.

Users can also explore the galaxy, with content included from The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager and Enterprise.

Data, Kirk, Picard and Spock are among the characters set to appear in the game.

“We want to create a new generation of strategy game for tablet and mobile devices and one that is as large and deep as the Star Trek universe itself,” Disruptor Beam CEO Jon Radoff said.

Disruptor Beam recently announced a partnership with Kongregate to bring Game of Thrones: Ascent to iOS and Android smartphones.
