Staples starts selling Apple’s iDevices online

Staples is a market leader in the bland, bland world of office stationary. From today, Apple’s iPads and iPods have the honour of being counted amongst such boring products, as the retailer has begun to sell these devices online.

Okay, so it’s not the most interesting news but it does give you an idea of just how popular these devices have become. Staples.com has started advertising the products for sale, along with the promise of free shipping and 5 percent back in rewards points. The plan is for them to eventually be sold across the company’s brick-and-mortar stores, of which there are over 2,000 across the US.

So, shopping for pencils? Why not pick up an iPad too, while you’re at it?
