Unless you’ve been living in a box, then we’re pretty sure you’ve heard that Sony is set to launch its new next-generation gaming console next week — also known as the PlayStation 4. If you’ve ever wanted to have a look in the beast of a console, well Sony is finally giving you a chance.
Wired managed to tie Sony engineering director Yasuhiro Ootori down in order to give us the deepest, most intimate look at the PlayStation 4 to date. Inside is some of the things you would expect, with a small fan, sizeable heatsink and the standard circuit boards and components — pretty much the kind of things you would expect in a computer, or just about any electronic device.
