Six new Nokia devices for next month’s event?

Nokia will obviously be announcing some big new products at its event in Abu Dhabi next month, but until now we’ve assumed it would likely be limited to one or two reveals. It turns out that there could be as many as six shiny new things to show off. Six!

The Verge is pushing these rumours, citing a source that’s familiar with the Nokia ‘roadmap’. If true, then the company will also be revealing a range of new accessories for these reveals, with one of them supposedly being something pretty special.

Frankly, that’s more devices than are actually rumoured to be in production at the company, which is highly unusual. Until now we’ve only speculated that the event will play host to the launch of the 6 inch Lumia 1520 as well as the possible reveal of the Lumia 2520 Windows tablet. The sheer number of reveals suggests that both of these are pretty likely, perhaps with a range of other form factors to boot.

Should this prove true, then this will see part of the company going out with a bang as it waves goodbye to its devices division, which has been sold to Microsoft. The event is scheduled for October 22nd, so we’ll know for sure then.
