Shazam has introduced its music tagging application for Windows Phone 7, with unlimited tagging during the launch period. Tagged tracks can be purchased and downloaded from the Zune Marketplace.

The user interface has been ‘re-imagined’ for the unique design layout of Windows Phone 7, and it can be downloaded now from the Windows Phone Marketplace.

Charlie Kindle, General Manager, Mobile Developer Ecosystem at Microsoft said: “As a music fan myself, I love tagging new music with the Shazam App and then adding songs to my collection with my Zune Pass. Shazam makes a great Windows Phone 7 music experience even better.”

Shazam now has over 75 million users worldwide.
