Seamless Dual-SIM for your iPhone

The Krimston TWO is looking to be the traveller’s best friend. There’s less than seven days to go for it’s Kickstarter fund, but what is it?

Roaming charges have been abolished. Wonderful. But WhatsApp messages and Snaps need to be sent and updated respectively. Not to mention important emails and of course that selfie to your mum to reassure her you’re being a good boy/girl.

The TWO is an iPhone case that aims to eliminate the baggage of carrying: a power bank and a second phone.

The main feature of the TWO is it enables iPhone users to have two SIMs running at the same time. Dual-sim phones are nothing new to the Android world, Chinese manufacturers see it as a staple feature. With Apple being the only producer of iOS devices and never including the feature; Krimston are helping out those who really need two SIM cards.

The Two also acts as a power bank with 1700 mAh to save your bacon when you need it. It’s not just simply a power bank, the TWO has a clever feature called ‘Smart Hotspot’ that monitors the phone’s internet activity, and adjusts the signal accordingly to give individuals the longest battery life possible whilst online.

It’s pretty easy to hotspot your iPhone to a nearby electrical device, the TWO makes it even easier via an app.

A necessity for the modern day businessman?

What Mobile spoke to Krimston co-founder Fouad Fattal who spoke about his frustration with being charged for Internet usage.

“Roaming fees are unacceptable, my fellow co-founder Nabil Nasr had to pay $2000 over a data roaming bill, I was hit with the same thing for a five day business trip.”

Stories like Foaud’s are more common than you think. James Stevenson was charged £5,000 for checking a single text in South Africa.

The TWO is pretty impressive when we played around with the prototype. The quality is evident as Krimston are “registered and licensed developers for Apple hardware and software.”

You can back the TWO on Kickstarter right now.

Look forward to a review from us.
