Samsung launches Wave 723 – UK’s second bada OS handset

Samsung has announced the second bada OS handset to come to the UK, the Samsung Wave 723.The phone has a 3.2-inch TFT display with a folding protective cover, which will be familar to Samsung Tocco owners. It has the latest TouchWiz V3 user interface and Samsung’s Social Hub software to store contacts from email, social networking sites and your phonebook in one central location.

For connectivity, there’s 3G with HSDPA and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n. For imaging, there’s a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and a number of photo features (see specs box below). For apps and games, the phone has direct access to the Samsung Apps store, full of games, e-books, lifestyle and social networking applications.

The Wave 723 will be available in Q4 in the UK, with availability around Europe during September.
