The London based event, on Friday June 18th 2010, is the first of a series of events to be held throughout Europe before the end of the year.

Following the launch of the bada SDK, the event has been designed to get developers working on the new platform that was announced in late 2009. The Samsung Wave will be the first handset to use the bada operating system, which is on sale this month.

According to Samsung, the events are designed to help ‘build up diverse developer support systems, including online and offline courses for bada platform and development support service via the bada Developers site’. (

The event is open to any developer without any registration fee. It will be an insight into the bada platform, with prizes available to developers on the day. It will be held at The Congress Centre, 23-28 Great Russell Street, London.
