Samsung Galaxy Note 5 to be revealed on August 13th

A report on Korean media claims that the Galaxy Note 5 could release as early as August 12th.

The reasoning behind the move is apparently to ensure that they get the jump on the iPhone 6s, which is due to be released in September. Samsung are hoping to get out of the gate early and steal some sales away from Apple. The phone was originally going to be announced at Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) in Berlin, taking place from the 4th to the 9th of September.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is expected to feature similar specs to the existing Galaxy S6, with the same 1440p screen, Exynos 7422 processor and 3GB RAM. One unique feature that it may possess over its sibling is the inclusion of a microSD card slot, plus a huge 4100 mAh battery.
