realme has announced that its latest flagship, the realme X2 Pro has been released in the UK.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer opened pre-sales for the phone on November 4 and said that pre-sales for their latest flagship have been an ‘absolute success’ though they did not go into precise figures.

The realme X2 Pro is the brand’s first Full Speed Flagship to be released in the UK and features a 64MP quad-camera with a 20x hybrid zoom. The phone will use the latest Snapdragon 855+ processor and will fully charge in 35 minutes with the 50W superVOOC charger. The flagship will be priced from ‚¬399.

At the launch of the realme X2 Pro in Madrid last month, country manager of realme Spain Emilio Alvarez said that the company already has 17 million customers worldwide.

The company is planning to use their base in Madrid to expand operations in Europe. realme Director Levi Lee told Mobile News: “We care a lot about the European market and are very ambitious in our plans to expand.

“Gradually we will expand to more and more countries and I can tell you that it will be very fast.”

According to Counterpoint Research, realme has shown more than 800 per cent annual growth worldwide in Q3 2019, ranking seventh in the global smartphone market, and the world’s fastest-growing smartphone brand.
