Football fans can put their UEFA Champions League knowledge to the test in a new interactive trivia deck on a face-to-face social network, Houseparty in collaboration with Pepsi MAX –
Pepsi MAX® is teaming up with Houseparty to build the app’s first custom trivia deck in an exciting new global partnership that launches today. To mark the highly anticipated return of the UEFA Champions League in August, Pepsi MAX and Houseparty have created the ultimate football deck based on UEFA Champions League trivia for fans. The Pepsi Football Trivia Deck will join the roster of free games available on Houseparty, which has seen download numbers skyrocket over the last few months as people have looked for ways to virtually connect during the pandemic.
Users across the world will have the chance to virtually socialize and compete against one another by answering some of the trickiest UEFA Champions League questions in a bid to outwit friends and family. With more than 250 challenging multiple-choice questions — covering everything from “Who scored the most hat-tricks in the UEFA Champions League?” to “Which clubs have won the UEFA Champions League more than four times?” — the Pepsi Football Trivia Deck on Houseparty is guaranteed to stump even the most knowledgeable football fans.
To support the launch, Manchester United FC superstar Paul Pogba posted a video, which shows the midfielder crashing a Houseparty of three football fans — Now United’s music star Bailey May, sports presenter Layla Anna-Lee, and panna champion Jack Downer — who thought they were just there to try out the new game. Before making his appearance, the group can be seen struggling on a particularly difficult Pogba-related question before the Frenchman stuns them by crashing the Houseparty – and warning them to answer correctly!
