Coinciding with the launch of Sony Ericsson’s ‘Entertainment Unlimited’ proposition, Orange will add a range of new entertainment phones. These will offer high quality Cyber-shot imaging and Java gaming, in addition to music.
The two year agreement will also see Orange include its music service on a range of Walkman devices. Since 2006, the network operator has sold over 6.3 million Walkman handsets – making it the biggest provider of Walkman phones in Europe.
The new phones will form part of the ‘Signature’ series which takes handsets and customises them for a simple user experience. The Orange Music Store offers Orange Walkman phone users a full-track download service, with one click access to over a million tracks.
