We’ve got some bad news for those of you who are eagerly awaiting the launch of the OnePlus Two. Rumours suggest that the follow up to the OnePlus One won’t be released in the third quarter of this year as expected.

According to rumours from Gizmochina, the delay may have been been caused, not because of manufacturing problems, but by the success of the OnePlus One, the device’s predecessor.

The OnePlus One could still prove popular in the second half of 2015. OnePlus are worried that launching the OnePlus Two could have consequences on the OnePlus One’s popularity.

OnePlus Two features

If the delay happens, the OnePlus Two might ditch the Snapdragon 810 processor used in the OnePlus One and feature a newer and more powerful Qualcomm chipset.
