O2 is offering free wireless internet access across London during the sport-packed summer, with a range of Wi-Fi hotspots recently unveiled at key tourist centres around the city.

Available free for customers of any network, O2’s wireless hotspots have been arranged alongside the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the City of Westminster.

With hotspots in locations including Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Street and Regent Street, among others, all you have to do is register with O2 to get connected for free.

Celebrating the free service, London Mayor Boris Johnson said, “With millions of extra people coming to town for the Games, we want to ensure we showcase the Capital as the best city in the world to work and visit, and the addition of free WiFi…is crucial in helping to maintain that reputation.”

And with Virgin Media also providing free Wi-Fi on the London Underground, there’s no reason why you can’t stay connected wherever you go in the city this summer.

Will you be signing up for O2 and Virgin Media’s free Wi-Fi hotspots, or are you connected right now and reading this page on the move? Let us know in the comments below.
