O2 has teamed up with Nike to create the new Priority Sports app, giving O2 customers access to exclusive Nike offers, tickets to sporting events and even the chance to train with some sporting legends.

Announced at the Nike Town store on London’s Oxford Street, O2’s CEO Ronan Dunne and sports presenter Mark Chapman unveiled the new app, which adds to O2’s range of existing Priority services.

Set for launch on iOS and Android, Priority Sports will let O2 customers gain priority access to new Nike products, get tickets to Nike sporting events before anyone else, and even enjoy free use of the new Nike + Android running app.

Not only that, O2 customers will even have the opportunity to train and run with such sporting legends as Paula Radcliffe, making Priority Sports a great app for all sport-loving smartphone fans.

O2 Priority Sports will launch in August for iPhone and Android handsets. So if you’re an O2 customer, this looks like another great app to add alongside O2’s Priority Tickets and Priority Moments apps.
