Nokia may be making phones again

A leaked picture suggests that the Finnish company may not be finished after all.

Nokia’s handset business was acquired by Microsoft in 2013, subsequently the Finnish company was blocked from creating any more Nokia branded handsets until 2016. Guess what? It’s 2016 and it looks like they’re preparing a new device for the market.

Sources spoke to Android Authority, claiming the device will be called the Nokia A1, and will be released soon. How soon? Very soon. Middle of the year soon. That’s soon. SOON.

The design of the A1 looks quite ‘Lumia’ with a squarish profile and the plastic back makes a return. On front are capacity keys for UI navigation.

The new Nokia will apparently run it’s own Android skin over Android 6 Marshmallow; Nokia Z. It will have a 5.5-inch display and a Snapdragon 652 processor.

With the supposed specs Nokia are going for the mid-range market for their return.
