Nokia has confirmed the follow up to their flagship Windows phone (Lumia 800) is coming to the UK this spring.

Designed for fast LTE networks that we don’t have (yet) in the UK, there’s been a tweak under the bonnet to make the Lumia 900 compatble with 3G networks. The big USP over the Lumia 800 is the screen size – 4.3 inches, up from 3.7 inches. There’s a small front facing camera too, which allows video chat functions.

Price is around £399 PAYG which essentially replaces the Lumia 800 and you can expect to see the Lumia 900 on sale by the end of March. If you’ve been considering a Lumia 800, the Lumia 900 is a no-brainer, offering more value and is free of battery life teething issues.

We’ll bring you a full report on the rest of the Nokia range at MWC soon…
