The press release we received was headed ‘Social networking and messaging brought to life with the Nokia C3, Nokia C6 and Nokia E5’, with basic details on the new Nokia C3, C6 and E5.

All handsets feature full QWERTY keyboards and are based on Nokia’s Series 40, in the case of the C3, or Series 60 (Symbian) operating system for the C6 and E5.

The C3 should be available on prepay for under £100 when it goes on sale in Q2. Amazingly for this price point, the phone includes Wi-Fi!

The Nokia C6 is a Symbian powered smartphone with a 3.2-inch touch screen, 5-megapixel camera and slide out keyboard, available Q2.

Finally, the E5 is another Symbian powered smartphone that follows the design of the E72 and E63. It will support access to over 90% of corporate email systems through Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes Traveler. The handset will have a SIM-free cost below £200, making it highly affordable on all tariffs. The E5 will be available in Q3.
