The C3 is Nokia’s attempt to take on the likes of Alcatel, LG and Samsung who have been dominating the low-end of the market with keyboard equipped devices set up for messaging and social networking.
The GSM phone may lack 3G, but it does include Wi-Fi to offer high-speed connectivity at home, the office or wireless hotspots. There’s a 2-megapixel camera, email, IM client and media player, with the option of widgets on the enhanced homescreen.
The C3 is available to buy via Nokia’s online store on June 18th, followed by Vodafone on June 22nd for one month. After this period of exclusivity, the C3 will be made available from O2, Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U.
