An leaked image from a computer database has revealed the price of the upcoming Nexus 7 2, as reported on Android Central.

The tablet has been shown to cost around £150 for the 16gb version and £175 for the larger 32gb model. The image was leaked from a database belonging to US retailer OfficeMax so it is possible the device will be priced differently here in the UK.

Rumours about the device’s specs claim it will sport a 1080p resolution screen along with a 5 megapixel camera and a quad-core snapdragon 600 processor. While the leak today suggests that the processor will indeed be quad core whether or not it will be made by Snapdragon hasn’t been corroborated by other sources.

There’s still no official release date for the Nexus 7 2 but an event scheduled for July 24th with Android and Chrome Chief Sundar Pinchai has been suggested, particularly in light of today’s leak which suggests a launch date for the tablet can’t be far off.
