When the Motorola RAZR i was recently announced, something that was missing, along with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update being pre-installed, was the price.

That’s now changed as details of what the first 2GHz Intel-powered smartphone will cost have been revealed.

The Motorola RAZR i is an Android 4.0 smartphone built around a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with 540 x 960-pixel display and features a fairly standard 8-Megapixel camera.

However, its big selling point is the use of an Intel 2GHz Atom processor, along with NFC (Near Field Communication), MicroSD storage expansion and a powerful 2000mAh battery.

Online retailer Clove has posted that you can now pre-order the Motorola RAZR i for £342 (inc. VAT) SIM free, which is nicely affordable for what’s expected to be a super-fast smartphone.

This price just beats the £344.99 (inc. VAT) that rival online retailer Expansys is asking for the Motorola RAZR i. Both sites are expecting to fulfill pre-orders in October.

If you’re looking for a contract deal, then you can check out Virgin Media, who is offering the Motorola RAZR i £23 per month on its Premiere Tariff, while T-Mobile is asking for up to £31 a month depending on the contract you’re after.

What do you think? If you’ve been waiting for the Motorola RAZR i are any of these prices tempting? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
