We’re a day away until Lenovo launches the much hyped, newly branded, Moto Z smartphones. So here’s another leak for you before the big day.

A teaser poster has surfaced (above) showing three new colours that could potentially show up in the frame of the new Moto Z range. We can thank Weibo again yet for another leak.

The legitimacy of the poster has to be brought into question, it seems quite strange to see a minimal teaser poster, leaked a day before the grand unveiling. Now Lenovo could be teasing the poster later this afternoon, but to reiterate, it seems a bit late.

The colours that are revealed in the poster (from our observation) are: graphite grey, gold and pink or rose gold. It’s a bit blurry to be confident in our calls, but we’re banking it more likely to be rose gold, as Apple has popularised the colour since the release of the iPhone 6.

From the poster alone we can see a prominent camera bump, with the volume and power keys along the right side.

Surprise? What surprise?

We’ve known for a while now what the new Moto Z devices will look like. We’re expecting the Moto Z Vecter Thin and Vertex to be announced tomorrow, along with a Moto X Force sequel.

Moto Z Vector Thin

The Vecter Thin is expected to be the true flagship and sequel to the Moto X Style. It will have a Snapdragon 820, 3/4GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilisation and laser auto-focus. A quality 5.5-inch quad HD AMOLED display also sets it apart from the other two devices expected to launch alongside. A slim 5.2mm profile will restrict it to a lowly 2,600mAh battery.

Moto Z Vertex

Presumably the sequel to the mid-range Moto X Play, it’s expected to have a Snapdragon 625 processor, 5.5-inch full HD display. Two versions are expected: 2GB of RAM with 16GB internal memory or 3GB of RAM with 32 GB of internal memory. A thicker frame is expected, 7mm, so a bigger 3,500mAh battery is expected.

Moto X Force 2

Not much is known about this one, except that it’s expected to retain the AMOLED shatterproof screen. It might not be announced tomorrow as Motorola didn’t announce all three phones at the same unveiling. We’re expecting the X Force 2 to favour functionality of glam, a rebranding wouldn’t be a surprise.

Lenovo Tech World is taking place tomorrow (9th June) in Silicon Valley.
