New information on the camera that will be featured on the Moto X emerged today, with the promise of a “Clear Pixel” device.

A source at Moto hinted that “dark, blurry pics and lack of details will be things of the past”. References to ‘Clear Pixel’ technology might suggest a link with a technology revealed by Kodak incorporation “clear” pixels to achieve up to four times better light sensitivity.

Google’s Vic Gundotra has made comments promising a Nikon branded high quality camera for the next release in the Nexus line but at this point it appears that the Nexus and Motorola lines are to remain separate.

Previous leaks have given the specifications for the Moto X camera as 10 MP, 720p HD screen,  dual-core Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 Pro processor and 2 GB of RAM.
