The next Microsoft phones could be the Windows 10-equipped Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL, both costing more than the Samsung Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6.

An official price hasn’t been confirmed yet, but sources suggest that the new Lumia devices will cost more than iOS and Android devices. This means the 940 and 940 XL could cost at least £550.

So what does that price get you? Both phones will have a 20-megapixel main camera, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a microSD slot.

There also could be a triple-LED flash, iris scanner and a polycarbonate build. Recent devices like the Lumia 830 have been built using metal and plastic.

Screen size and CPUs set both devices apart. The Lumia 940 will supposedly come with a 5.2-inch 1080p screen and a Snapdragon 808 CPU. The XL model may get a 5.7-inch QHD screen with a Snapdragon 810 processor. QHD means the quality of everything on screen will be four times better than standard HD.

They may also be the first devices to support Continuum. This means both devices will turn into proper computers when connected to a larger display.

Both devices are expected to launch in November.
