Fresh Meizu MX6 image leak looks just like a PRO 6

A fresh Meizu MX6 image leak has shown the device in all its glory… and it looks identical to the PRO 6.

There’s been no shortage of rumours surrounding the Meizu MX6 recently, with the smartphone scheduled to debut on July 19th. The latest is a series of official images depicting what the handset will look like once it gets released and surprise… it’s identical to the PRO 6. With the same aluminium unibody and camera array (minus laser auto-focus), there’s practically nothing to discern the two. The only real difference we could see is a lack of that 10 LED dual-tone flash, replaced instead by a single LED.

Meizu MX6 image leak doesn’t reveal much

The Meizu MX series has always represented the mid-range, so it’s unfair to compare this to the flagship PRO anyway. Internally, hardware is still expected to be impressive, with Geekbench scores revealing a MediaTek Helio X20 and 4GB RAM. It’s also expected to have a FullHD display and 12 megapixel rear camera, plus a 5 megapixel selfie shooter. Battery life could be huge, with an estimated 4,000mAh cell inside. This will likely support the newest fast-charging standards. Android 6.0 will ship with the Meizu MX6, plus the obligatory Meizu Flyme skin.
