The Lumia 510 will see a limited release in the United Kingdom.

A Nokia spokesman confirmed that due to demand, one run of the 510 would be sold at one retailer in the UK.   He was unable to give further details about how many phones would make up the order and which retailer this would be, but said this should occur within the next few weeks.

Customers had been asking about the 510 and this had prompted the decision to fulfil the demand, he said.   No further orders would be made beyond the one run, he said.

The Lumia 510 was launched as an entry level device in October and sold in November starting in India and China, followed by Asia-Pacific and South America. It runs Windows Phone 7.8, the previous iteration of Windows’ newest mobile operating system, Windows Phone 8.

The   phone runs with a Snapdragon S1 processor and 256MB of RAM with 4GB memory, 5MP camera with autofocus and a 4″ touch screen with 800×480 resolution.
