LG set to launch ‘G Health’ smart watch?

LG could be set to join Samsung and Sony with its own smart watch, which is rumoured to be called ‘G Health’. Those rumours look set to become true as LG has filed a trademark for a watch-like device by the name of ‘G Health’.

Whilst details are scarce on what the G Health actually does, it’s believed that the device will be unveiled in 2014 and come with a flexible display, much like the recently announced LG G Flex. It’s also believed that Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean will be the operating system of choice on the wrist watch, albeit with a custom user interface.

Be warned, just because LG has applied for the trademark doesn’t mean that it plans on using the device name — and G Health may never emerge from the South Korean tech giant, but it’s always nice to dream.
