LG Optimus L1 II now available on Three

It’s not exactly LG’s new flagship, the LG G2, but Three has today announced that it plans on carrying the LG Optimus L1 II in the UK — the only network to do so.

The Optimus L1 II sports a 3-inch QVGA display capable of a resolution of 320×240, a 1GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a 2MP camera and a tiny 1540mAh battery.

If those specs sound low, then they should — given this is a phone aimed at the lowest of the low-end.

The only saving grace for this phone seems to be the fact it runs Android Jelly Bean — albeit 4.1.2 rather than 4.2 or 4.3.

Three currently has the exclusivity for the LG Optimus L1 II, which comes in black and white, although it’s thought that the black version will launch on other carriers in the near future.

If you want to pick up the LG Optimus L1 II from Three, you can do so today, with the phone costing £49.99 on PAYG and starting from £11 on contract.
